Woolly Weed Eaters

The sheep that are brought in to graze in the open space have been behind our backyard for more than a week now. The Woolly Weed Eaters were transported by way of the "Ewe-hauler." They are a herd of about a hundred sheep so after a week the prairie grasses are disappearing. There is one sheep in particular that walks the fence line trying to get to the grass from the very green lawns.

I might have created a problem when I started pulling longer grass from my side of the fence to give it to this little sheep, tagged with #9417,

Herd starts bleating at little 9417

The rest of the herd bleat collectively while I stand and hand the green grasses to little sheep, 9417. I wish I knew why the herd is bleating.

But three other sheep have figured out what is going on and begin to come a little closer.

#9417 watches through the fence as I finish potting flowers.

He is trying to break my heart.

My backyard last year on May 30. I do not have photos of my backyard yet because I was away in May this year and currently it is snowing and the temperature is in the mid 40s. I am waiting for a brighter day.
What's in your backyard?
